Repairs are always an option for minor damage and small leaks, however, the chances that these leaks are a sign of a direr situation are strong. It’s most likely that inspection will indicate rust, corrosion of paint and general signs of age.
As a general rule – replacement over repair is recommended for any roof over 30 years old.
